Obi Wan hit the nail on the head when he described lightsabers as an elegant weapon from civilized days. Hardly any other weapon in film history has achieved such a cult status as the dangerous lightsabers from the classic Star Wars. Apart from the fact that they can cut through most materials (and people), lightsabers sometimes reveal a lot about the person wielding them through their coloring. For example, Sith traditionally prefer red blades, while Jedi tend to use colors such as blue, green or purple.
The Black Series FX lightsaber is not suitable for welding, cutting or melting, but it can be used to recreate the epic Jedi battles of the Star Wars series. Thanks to the detailed metal handle the lightsaber also makes an excellent decoration on the enclosed display standthe true-to-movie light and sound effects invite you to duel. So you don't have to imitate the sounds yourself like you used to when fighting with sticks: When you activate the lightsaber, the light barrier on the blade is extended, and by built-in motion sensors the right sound at the same time.
To activate the crystal in the lightsaber, you also need 3 AA batteries (not included). May the Force be with you!
